First of all, we would like to thank all the members who've submitted photos and purchased the
2009 calendars! We had a great success and have raised over $1000. We have donated $700 to
Sunshine Corgi Rescue and have since saved $300 for this year upcoming partial printing cost. (yes, we fronted all the printing cost last year) We hope to sell even more calendars this year and to help other rescues around the country. Now that we are a 501c3 non profit charity, we have more ways to save on shipping and printing cost! Lower production cost = more money goes towards different rescues.

that would be awesome if it is ever possible to do :D
Yes, a month of John Wolf's photos and Shepdogs too!!
Just a thought -- (and this is mine alone) -- reserving a month for specific pictures doesn't quite seem like it might work as well as it should. Personally, I'd rather see a great picture of a Corgi regardless of breed, then to settle on one that might not be as artistically wonderful because it meets a reserved criteria for a certain month. It really narrows down the pool, so to speak. I like that the photos stand on their own merits regardless of breed/color/tail/wheels, etc... :)

That's what I am most interested in personally if I'm going to purchase a few of them. Which I will, because I need a new work Calendar, and what's better than Corgis and helping out a rescue at the same time?

I'll be contacting you shortly - wouldn't mind selling some to help out a rescue, for sure.
Agreed 100%, quality is still #1 priority :)
*thumbs up*

Awesome possum, I wasn't sure if that's what you were thinking too, Sam, so I thought I'd clarify for my own sake. While I love the idea of a 365 day calendar, I also know that production costs soar pretty quick with printing... (Plus, the idea of a book is wonderful, but yeah, in this economy, yipe. Here's to a better year next year, for all of us, since I'd love to see a book myself.)

(And Bev, awww. Thanks. That means a lot to me. I think I crossposted when you were posting, so I didn't see that until now.)

I'm a huge fan of John's work too, ha! ;)
Yes, I want a calendar!
We need a month for mismarks. ;) There's quite a few on this site!

I certainly plan to get one!
A desktop one would be nice and as for a small one, about 7 x 7 would be a good size, ringed to flip over like a large one. I can see me buying one of these from here and one from Corgiaid. Last year's theme on Corgiaid was "Corgis on Wheels"....precious!
Thanks for the suggestion on size Lou Ann!
It would be great if the calendars were cheaper this year. The economy stinks, so it would be better if it was cheaper than $14 plus shipping. Can you lower the price? If it's less money and a lot of people buy it, you'll make a lot more money. Can you make it like....$7 plus shipping?
It would be great wouldn't it? It's all about supply and demand, if there is a huge demand, a lower price is definitely doable. Just FYI, roughly 150+ calendars were sold last year, about 3X of them did not get sold, I had to absorb the production cost out of my own pocket. Anyways, we'll see what happens this year, keep your hope up, we've been able to do it cheaper than the 2 previous years so far.
Sam, I meant to tell you that this is a great video! Props for the creativity, hopefully it will result in even more calendar sales this year!
