Hello, My aunt's boss is trying to re-home an adorable Tri 7 month old male corgi. He is not neutered. His name is Shortie. He is papered, but the woman she got him from is unable to be gotten ahold of. He loves the hose and playing in the wading pool. He is housebroken and loves to wrestle with her schnauzer. He is a snuggle bunny that loves to be brushed on his tummy. Great with kids and ignores her cat. Located in Boise, Idaho. I am hoping to help her find a loving forever home for him. Please email her at lady007_@msn.com if you are interested. Also if you can reply on here if you are interested so I know if anyone is interested to keep track. Thank you so much.

awww, I hope he finds a good home, he is sooo cute!
He is precious, I know someone who wants a corgi but we live in MA. How soon does he need to find a home. You could contact the corgi rescue in your area and add his name to the directory. Then he would be sure to find a new home.
Why is she trying to rehome him?
I am the person trying to rehome him. I was watching him for an employee that went on a leave. well, she returned to work and said she didn't want him, so now I am finding him a good, loving home. I can't keep him because I already have 2 dogs.
He is sooo handsome!! I'm sure he will find a great home with a face like that. Too bad I already have two dogs... that's my limit!
What are the circumstances surrounding his needing to be rehomed??? I think he is absolutely ADORABLE!!!!!!

What a handsome guy, and a black-headed tri! Fairly rare. Too far for me and we already have a male so we're looking for a female.

I am also curious as to why she needs to rehome this pup.
why do you say black headed tris are rare? We had a red and only really saw that color. After finding my black tri I see them all over the place and wonder why I hadn't before.
My understanding is BHT is a recessive coat pattern. So to throw a BHT pup, both parents must carry the recessive gene (meaning the parent is not necessarily a BHT itself). So, in very broad terms, if a pup is born with a red gene and a BHT gene, it will express red, though it could produce BHT if bred to another dog that carries the BHT gene.

I think with coat colors it's a bit more complex than that, though.
I would be willing to transport him to anywhere in the US for however much it would cost in gas. I really want him to be in a great home and I'm sure if he was with someone from here... he would be loved and with a great family.
