Hi, I am an avid Corgi lover. I became hooked on the breed at age 16..I am more than double that age now! wow. I breed; responsibly. My passion was always to be a Veternarian. So, after spending 16 years in 'human' medicne; I am going back to get my DVM. My animal experience: horses, dogs, cats, sheep, rabbits, and numerous other 'critters'.

Hi! I am a proud owner of two Corgis. I am also a teacher. I took great care to get my dogs during my breaks from teaching so I could work on training them. I am not a professional trainer by any means, but I have applied much of what I understand of behavior modification in children to my Corgis.

Carved glass and ornate ironwork artist with a sculptural bent...i stand up to people abusing animals, have done it all my life, and 'rehomed' many critters when it is clear the person is sadistic, unwilling to change or refuses responsibility...

Thanks for inviting me to the group. I'm a professional...without a Corgi. I'm what they call a Business Systems Analyst...in plain English, I design computer software. Sadly, it's my job that may prevent me from getting a Corgi. Too many hours away from home. Out of curiousity...does anyone have a guess about how much the average 6 year old corgi sleeps during the day? I know my cats just aren't themselves if they don't get their full 22 hours every day...;)

Thank you for inviting me to this group. I am a professional breeder of Corgis and have been breeding them for 18 years. I breed sightly smaller, very cute, totally loving, healthy and correct dogs. I have a new litter that is just a week old. There are three tri males available. Anyone interested can go to www.huntercorgis.com. I also place rescue Corgis in family homes. I have three Corgis that are 1 yr old 2 tri females and 1 red/white male if anyone is interested, please let me know.

Thank you.

Thanks Wendy for inviting me to the group. Cowboy and Priya are my rescued corgis. I guess that's my "professional" content, that I help with rescue and the
dogs I receive are one that are very senior or ones that need medical help and
wouldn't be a good fit to a regular families. My place in rescue has sort of evolved after, Chewie, my first corgi left for the Bridge, I was offered another dog, Sweet Spirit, who had lots of medical problems, undetected at first.
From there I learned lots about alternative and hospice-like work with dogs,
along with starting to work with hospice work with humans. Now I feel like
I do the same work with both. Along with my own 2 dogs I have one 15 1/2
year old dog who comes to visit us and give his owner some respite time.
His owner was getting overwhelmed by now being able to do things away from
the house that she needed to, but now she will leave him with us and not
worry (too much) while she gets a break.
Nice to be here, looks like a great group is already here too.

www.littlelegsrescue.petfinder.com - This is the rescue that I am associated with. I help them as much as I can, but presently can't foster another for a while. My new project is to bake, which I sell goods at our home veggie stand, and give a percentage back to LittleLegs.

Hello - I don't really "do" anything professional for Corgis except love them (I have two) and tell others how fabulous they are. I'm an editor with a license called a Series 16, which allows me to review equity research for a small boutique investment bank. I work from home, so my dogs and I are pretty much joined at the hip. My older pup, Bertie Wooster, has started agility and if I can find a class with a good schedule, I want him to become a therapy dog, esp. working with kids. The little one has a bit of a princess 'tude, so we'll do agility only. Kudos and thank yous to all of you working so hard with rescue, education, rehab, etc.
