Maybe I'm weird but Molly seems so unhappy lately. We've tried all sorts of things. but she just kinda seems depressed. Has anyone else had this problem and suggestions would help. Thanks!

Has anything in her environment changed? If not, try getting her out some. Go to a park. Get her fave treat--hotdogs, cheese, etc. Does she have a favorite toy? Try to find something different and interesting to get her involved with. Does she like other dogs? Maybe a dog park?

If not, have you had her checked out by your vet. She simply may not be feeling well. They'll check her for parasites and all the usual stuff that can make a corgi lethargic. What about fleas? Does she have them. They can make a dog anemic and lethargic.

Good luck and let us know how it goes.
My Bella has gets like that every once in a while, but she'll snap out of within a day or two of taking her to great new places and lots of play. If nothing seems to cheer her up, I definitely recomend taking her to the vet.
My Bella goes through this once in awhile and she just doesn't seem interested...I take her with me alot but I sometimes wonder if my noisy Livvy drives her crazy! She has grown into such a wonderful young lady and maybe this is part of her personality. I don't know...but she has grown very mellow!
Maybe it's the change in seasons... some people get depressed when the days get shorter, too. Has she gotten the same amount of outdoor activity? What about socialization with other dogs?
Yes she has her friends. Max of course , and Bear lives next door and bears friend triboli. Bear is HUGE mutt and Triboli is a minuturesnauzer. And My son brings his dog over whos a terrier.
How is she doing? Is she still with the same symptoms?
My first thought was "do dogs get SAD (seasonal affective disorder)?" This is depression connected to lessening of sunlight. Then I thought "does the owner?" Are YOU feeling unhappy? Is she picking up on your feelings? I'm not sure where you live, but Daylight Savings Time just ended, the days are shorter, and there could be other reasons you're not happy. Worth a thought?

Penny has seemed a little down lately too and then this weekend she decided to poop in the house...not once but three times and two of them ON our recliners! She also peed in the hallway...Seems like she is trying to tell us something...I'm watching her to see if she improves and if not I'll bring her to the vet.
Melinda that happened here this week end. Do you think we have some sort of Corgi Revolt?
i think it's the weather??
