You can buy an ear cleaner but I will have to check...I make a solution and I think it is vinegar and peroxide...I am leaving right now so I don't have time to look. I just put this on a cotton ball and wipe out the ear. You can also check the internet...thats how I found mine. Just google ear cleaning /dogs/ home made remedies...or something like that!
Yup, what Jane said!

Our old corgi mix Delilah used to have ear problems and we bought a large bottle of solution that you could squirt into the ear, massage the base and muck it around, then wipe out with a clean cotton ball. After it would break some goo up, I would fine tune the cleaning with a q-tip, but only on those parts of the ear that were visable, not IN the ear. She HATED it!

Good luck!!
I put some rubbing alcohol on a cotton ball and clean Finn's ears. His ears don't get very dirty so I only need to clean them once every month and a half to two months. If you need to clean more frequently the alcohol could dry out the skin. For frequent cleaning you can buy an ear solution from a pet supply store.
epi-otic
We've used this epi-otic stuff. Gwynnie does this thing where she violently shakes her head, flapping her ears. I've been thinking about using it again.
