So... I started introducing raw food to the pups today... Charlie went ecstatic and is the happiest boy in the world right now...
I was terrified at first about the bones (I'm sure like many) but after watching him devour meat bones and all I was relieved and feel much better about it.
So while one little dog is the happiest pup in the world...I had issues with the other.
Roxi doesn't seem to like it. She sniffed it.. gave me the "Wheres the food?" look.. licked it and walked right up to me. So I sat down and picked it up and tried to get her to eat it out of my hand.. no luck.. let her take it and she nibbled then came back to me..
this repeated until Charlie was done.... and finally I gave in and gave her, her normal meal.
Anybody have to introduce this to picky eaters? Any tricks? I'm thinking of buying boneless chicken and mixing it in her meal and see if that works but I think its the chewing/eating part she's not getting since she's used to bite sized treats/meals.
Any suggestions would be helpful :) Thanks!
