• Getting ready to go on a walk.  Walking is one of his favorite things to do, but yet he stays so calm and cool while getting ready to go.
  • The vacuum comes out.  He is sure just to get out of the way, but still be able to watch it.
  • Cuddle time on the couch with Mom or Dad
  • Waiting to get very small crumbs of bread learning the quiet command.  So far we have made it 20 minutes.  Working on this, as I type.  :)
  • Getting ready to go for a car ride
  • Sitting outside during the day or night.  Loves laying on the stoop by the patio glass door or the cement patio.  When he does bark at something outside all I have to do is open the door and ask him if he wants to come in.  He stops barking and sometimes starts sniffing the grass like, who me, that couldn't be me that was barking.  LOL
  • Of course, when hes napping or sleeping for the night.
  • Overall I would say he is the quietest outside versus inside!!  Unless there is a dog while out on a walk that he wants to play with.
  • While out on a walk, and I stop to chat with someone, he usually is quietly waiting for me to finish my coversation.  Sometimes the conversations can last a bit.
  • When he wants to say hello to someone he sees out on a walk, its usually someone by their house, his tail starts wagging and the ears go back.

This is what I can think of for now, If I think of anything later I will add.   Copy and paste and add your Corgis quietest moments.

Maddie is quietest in her crate. The other night I actually forgot I had her crated til I looked around and said "Where's Maddie?" Thanks to her prior owner's excellent training, she will stay in the crate calmly as long as you need her to.

Maddie is also very quiet while we train. Sometimes she'll make a little grunting sigh, like "Are we done yet? No? Ok then" but I've never seen a dog so still and quiet during training. Jack will get excited and bark, or get frustrated and offer unasked for behaviors, but Maddie is like a pond on a calm day: not a ripple, not a sound.

Jack.... well, Jack is quietest when "Never." lol He is oh-so-vocal. But honestly he's normally very quiet on a walk. If he's in front of the house and he sees someone going by he'll bark, but on a walk he figures he's off duty and I don't think I've ever heard him make a sound while out walking.

The place where we board him also said he never barks. I nearly fell over laughing when they told me that. I just imagine Jack sitting there, the other dogs raising the roof around him, and his too-clever brain going "Uh, guys, it's not your territory. Why are you defending it? You know, as soon as you leave that run they scrub it down and then another dog comes right in. I've seen it happen. Trust me, you're wasting your time."
I have to do this in reverse for Frosty lol! Frosty is ALWAYS quiet except when:

He wants you to play with a toy, and you don't want to play with the toy (then he yodels at you)

He is tormenting a cat (he yodels at the cats too)

Someone pulls in our driveway (couple barks, then mostly mean sounding growling)

We get home and don't immediately acknowledge his presence (short barks and yodels)

Other than that, he almost always goes about life pretty quietly. I think we had him for almost 2 weeks before he ever barked.
Duncan is like Jack....never quiet. Wait, I take that back. He is the quietest when I am getting his treats. He'll sit in a nanosecond when he sees a treat. Other than that, he's a pretty vocal dog. Thanks to my husband....thought it was cute to bark at Duncan until he responded. I warned him about that, so now, he has to deal with it.
Teagen is only quiet when she's sleeping other wise she walks around barking or talking to you....ha-ha
Jordan is actaully pretty quiet he barks at the normal stuff other wise no sounds from him =)
Seanna will sneak cans out of the recycle bin, and carry them into our bedroom so she can lick them clean. It's funny though 'cause she walks as soft as a cat, and goes as fast as she can to try to sneak by me, with her ears flat against her head. All the time giving me the sideways glance to see if I'm watching, wondering if she's going to get away with it or not.
Wynn is the quietest when I walk through the door as he stands holding my shoe in his mouth wagging his tail and yes, he is the 1st to get petted for the quiet calmness he has!
Bella is quite most of the time.
Livvy waits by the door and I can see her peeking out from the blinds but is never quiet! Oh, except for treats, in her crate or when sleeping!
Sage is quite most of the time.
Wiley is never quite, well during storms which she hates!
Ella is quietest when she is sleeping, she'll just sprawl out on the floor and plop. Then you'll go "where's Ella" and she picks her head up and looks at you like "what do you want, I'm napping". She's doing that right now by the side of the chair (she's usually right near me, under or next to a chair).
