He got a chicken back, neck, liver, and heart tonight for dinner.  He ate it pretty fast-- well, he swallowed the liver almost whole and broke the neck into inch-long pieces, then swallowed it.  He DEFINITELY enjoyed it.  Afterward, he pawed at the cracks in the deck for more, lol.  When we came inside, though, he started whining.  He layed down a little and I pet him all while he was whining.  Then, he jumped off the couch, went to the door, and we went outside.  He pooped a little, then wanted me to kick the soccer ball around.  We went back inside, and he started throwing his toys around willy-nilly. Do you think the whining is just because he wanted more?  It passed so quickly... maybe he had a slightly upset tummy because of eating so fast? :\  The whining itself lasted a little while so I'm concerned.  I'm hoping it's because he's a spoiled brat, hahaha.

He might have a bit of an upset stomach. He got a LOT of food! I usually start them on one thing - just a chicken back, for example - and don't add in the organs for a week or so. My corgis usually get one chicken back a day (the big ones, that go down to the thighs and are about the size of your cupped hands - if you have little strip backs he should get three or four). If you think that's too little, you can up it somewhat, but give him a little while to get used to one thing before you add the organs. Once his tummy is used to it, you can add all kinds of stuff and he'll be fine, but during the transition I try to keep things more simple.
Oh! I didn't even think of that. I'm not transitioning him to raw, we just happened to have a bunch of chicken parts leftover after mom fixed dinner today. :) I would totally feed him raw if I had a big freezer to keep 40 pounds of chicken backs. Virginia Beach has ONE butcher who can only supply me with crates of chicken parts. Boo. Next time I have a surplus of chicken pieces, I'll only give him a little at a time. Thanks :3
hahah we all get excited when letting our pups try new things :)
