My male corgi is obsessed with our male dachshund.  He follows him everywhere and if he is not licking the dachshund's ears he is just laying and staring at him.  At night the corgi has to sleep next to the dachshund nose to nose.  Our dachshund is generally a good sport, but on occasion gets really annoyed.   Does anyone else have this problem?

Ginger does that to our non-corgi dog, Coko. Coko has ruled the roost for many years, so when we got Ginger it was quite a shock to her. Ginger is obsessed with Coko. She follows her around, barks at her, lays and stares at her. They are attached at the hip, much to the dismay of Coko. It drives her nuts, but like your dachsund, she's a good sport most of the time. The only way we can get Ginger to lay off is to physically seperate them with a barrier so they can't get to one another. I don't have any good solutions, but I can completely relate!
Bella does this to one of our cats!
Thanks for the information it is good to know that I don't have the only corgi with strange behavior!
