Has anyone been able to get there corgi to walk on a treadmill like Cesar Millan does on the dog whisperer? I tried today but Lily was so scared and she wouldn't walk at all she just dug her nails in (which are getting really long and i'm scared to cut them myself if anyone has any advice on that too) and slide off.

get yourself in front of the treadmill, leash her with your right hand, and feed her with your left hand, once she associated standing on the treadmill will lead to yummy food, you can begin snail crawling speed, she will need to take a turtle step to get to her food, increase your speed gradually for the next few days, eventually she'll be able to do it without the leash.
I like this idea. I would also start with just putting her on the treadmill without anything at first. then taking baby steps accompanied with food.
I got on it with mine. It helped that a couple of mine loved it and would jump up there and go along with one of the other ones. It was a game to them.

This is awesome! Looks like you have a great group of fit corgis!
I would love to do this with my corgis!  Did you every have any luck?

Did you hook the leash to the front like he does?  When Seanna had to go to water therapy, it was fairly easy since she was in an enclosed area, but we started her off SLOW.  We walk her periodically on our treadmill here at home.  We got her used to the word "walk" which meant to go forward.  We kept a little (hardly) any tension on the leash, but just enough to let her know that she had no choice.  Then, have someone in front with treats to keep her moving forward.  Just start really slow until she's used to the sound and feel of the whole thing, and work up gradually.  It just takes time.

Nails:  I dremel my dogs'.  Seanna is used to going on her back with my legs on each side so she can't go anywhere--but I got her used to this when she was a puppy, so she's pretty easy.  My shepherd mix has to be cradled and held to do hers, and Jackson we're still getting used to just the sound and brief touches.  It really kind of depends on Lily's temperment.  Sage I have to take a stern role with, while Jackson needs a soft touch and encouragement.  Try to start out making it as positive of a deal as you can.  Which for Corgis usually means lots of treats!

Check utube for corgis on treadmills. There are a few.

Regarding nail trimming, here is a discussion from last month about that with lots of tips and ideas:

This is interesting to me. The volunteers at our shelter are trying to raise $$ to buy a treadmill for the dogs (I assume it is not for the cats!) I hope it's not a case of "now that you've got it, what are you going to do with it (she said to the dog who chased the parked car ;) If this goes thru, I'll try to incorporate your advice, should they need it.
