When ever I'm getting ready in the morning as soon as I pick up the brush they get this look in there eyes and they stare at the hair dryer. Like they know that's the next thing I'm picking up and as soon as I turn it on the go into wild barking...
thats a corgi for you:) teddy LOVES the hair dryer! when ever i use it he dosnt bark but runs around the room and jumps up at me and if i point it at him he bites the air as his tail is wagging. its like a game to him lol
Brody hates the hair dryer and runs into the other room. Lilly lays down and waits for me to blow her in the face, she closes here eyes and points her nose straight into the warn air, like she's getting her hair done too!
Noodles hates the blow dryer. I actually have to move the hair dryer into our other bathroom because he barks at it and attacks it and daddy is still sleeping. I don't know why Noodles hates it so much. If I blow the air his direction, he will show me his teeth, but his bunny butt will be shaking the whole time. It is a fun game to him. I've even tried making him sit and stay while I pull it out, but he can't control himself and he comes running towards it. Crazy boy!
I have one that barks his fool head off - everyday at 5:30am and one that lays in the hallway looking like she's thinking to herself, "I wish you all would be quiet so I can sleep in."
My schipperke LOVES the blow dryer. When the dryer roars to life, she comes up and begs for some dryer action. But the dryer scared the bejeevers out of Marlee (the corgi) when she first came to live in our home. As Marlee has grown up she watched Cricket beg for more air time. Marlee seems to think that there must be SOMETHING good about blow drying, but when it's her turn, the expression on her face tells me that she just can't figure out what's so good about it. She grimaces and turns her head away until it's over. She knows she shouldn't be afraid, but every now and then there is still the momentary flicker of fear from the whites of her eyes. Then she retreats a few extra feet away looking back. But, she always hangs around so the schipperke doesn't get all the attention, even thought she doesn't really like it herself --- she lets the green eye'd monster get the best of her.
