Anyone here belong to Therapy Dog International? What about Therapy Dogs,Inc out of Wyoming?

I just checked this organization out as I am hoping that after Sage's next obedience class that she will take and pass not only her CGC but also her test for Therapy Dog. We have a dog from this group coming to the library this weekend for the children to read to the dog:) I checked out the web site and it looks promising. I was hoping someone had some experience with the group.

Our AKC instructors suggested Therapy Dogs, Inc out of Wyoming. They also have testers that test with 3 different observations so I have a tester lined up through there.

I like them a lot. They are pretty hands-off. Once you pass the test, you are free to visit. You can go as often or seldom as you like. You just need to renew and send in vet forms each year. They will get you info on places that are looking for dogs if you like, but you can go to places of your choosing.

We actually belong to a group that is part of TDI, and they arrange all the visits, which is nice.
