That is great...made me cry.  How true.  It is so painful to lose something so special...but what a tragedy to never share that love with anything else.  I believe that getting another animal is not saying you don't love the original animal, but that you are filling the hole they left behind.  I think our animals would love for us to take care of another animal, and give them a wonderful life.

made me cry. i just read it to my mom, while sitting here watching our new puppy play with our other dogs. our lab and min pin will always be missed, but i will never regret getting another corgi puppy.
