Has anyone found a durable chew toy that lasts a long time? Sam destroys just about every toy that I give her haha. I have a few balls that seem to be indestructable but I'm looking specifically for a chew toy that will last a long time.  I have a Kong but she got tired of that (plus she is not allowed extra treats for the moment because she needs to lose a few pounds).  We had a Wubba (made by Kong) that I thought would last for awhile but she ripped it open pretty quickly--at least we got a nice ball out of that one! Does anyone have any suggestions for a good, durable toy?

Get her a Nylabone that is made for heavy chewers.  This is the only thing we've found that Ginger can't destroy within an hour.  Granted, after a few days the ends get really rough, but she loves them.  And they don't pack on extra calories.  They make them in different flavors, and are relatively inexpensive.

I second this! Winston is chewing his Nylabone as I type. My only reserve about these chew toys is that we recently moved into a new apartment with hardwood floors and Winston has discovered that picking up the Nylabone and "throwing" it forcefully down makes a loud bang and usually he can scare me! I think Winston likes to make me jump, haha.

Maddie ate a hunk of one and we won't buy them. But they do seem to work well for many dogs.

Well my Butters just annihilated the heavy chewer Nylabone.  :/   It was a good short lived 1 hour life for the bone.  Gosh Darn It.  I'd be a much richer woman if I could get back all the money spent on toys.  The Kong has lived the longest in my household.  Butters mission in life is to destroy all toys.  Oh and Mommy's shoes too.  Oh and toilet paper.  That too.

annihilted the nylabone? wow..thats a strong chewer. I have had a nylabone for over eleven years and that was with my 120lbs rottwieler gnawing on that thing.  they do get rough on the edges but its good for there teeth.  My corgi mix loves chewing the nylabone I got a decade ago.  I would have to say I got my moneys worth

I give quin bully sticks I don't think they are that high in calories and it takes her awhile to go through it.  I get her the foot long ones from Costco

Me too. I let her have 1/4 of it at a time. She sprawls on the end of my chaise chair happily holding the stick in her paws and chewing while I rub her butt. i'm guessing this is as close to nirvana as it gets in the dog world. If I stop for a moment, she sits up and leans her head back at me as if to say "Excuse me, but why have you stopped?".
Antler.
Antlers last mine two days. :(
WHAT?! Whole ones? Spark has been gnawing on this one for weeks. Sounds like he's going to break his teeth.

We got the fat 6" long ones for extra large dogs.

Two days.  My parents' Chessie got one at Christmas and still has it.  Go figure.

Kongs and other real rubber toys are the strongest but I have noticed now that a different toy I had been buying must be made different as they no longer last like they used to:( I like the kongs that you can insert treats or a very small dab of peanut butter where it's hard to reach might work for very few calories. Fetch it balls are the most durable and she can get plenty of exercise, Livvy always has to chew on them before she brings them back, the small ones fit the corgi mouth perfect. I use the rubber type looking ones.
