Just kidding. My normally laid back Molly has gotten really nasty this past week to 10 days. She growls at everyone. She wrinkles that nose up no matter what. She even sticks her nose between our pillows on the bed so we can't see her and growls. We've ignored her, told her no,popped her on the nose and we still have problems. Any ideas?

Is she spayed? Could be something hormonal going on....I have this with my 2 unspayed females but it's always arounf their "season" time. Could she be feeling ill? I guess if it lasts too much longer I would have her checked by a vet to make sure there isn't a physical problem causing this!
How old is Molly? Could be doggy pms or she could have reached that adolescent stage where she is trying to determine which of you is in charge. I would skip the pop on the nose and try obedience classes. When she growls in bed I would put her on the floor! Corgis frequently can develop an attitude. They were bred to tell a 1 ton animal what to do so it is a good idea to study up on dog training with them. We have one that tends to be a little too dominant and one that never is but they both benefited from classes. Me too!
She's about 16months old and yes shes spayed. I will get her to the vet if this lasts much longer. I went to training with max and it helped me quiet a bit lol Thanks and I'll let you know
While all three dogs were spayed.. I know I've seen some changes during the females "season" even when nothings going on...

Roxi just gets moody and curls up in her corner for a week or two...

My parents old lab used to collect all her toys and cuddle with them in her bed and whimper.. plus freak out if you lay in the bed with her lol

and my brother's husky who is normally aloof and doesn't really like to pet gets all snuggly and lovey dovey.

Its kind of funny to see these changes. Though this one doesn't sound so amusing :(
