Okay so..... Tomatoes in a bag on the floor... guard and attack feet! Wooden block under the door... move with hands no worries... touch with foot... attack foot! Pick me up and cuddle with me.... growl.... show teeth... hiss... loud growl and hiss as I put her on the floor... she immediately begs to get up again... Just a sampling...
Am I reading her signals wrong? I am usually able to calm her down.. I never spank... I say in a loud voice with hands on hip...Leave it! or Absolutely NOT! ... Her response is growl... teeth... hiss... Then I talk soft and talk her down tell her it is okay nobody is going to harm her... Then I can pet her head and she visibly starts to relax and then tonight she actually laid on her side calm submissive?....
The rest of the night... after we moved the tomatoes she was her usual playful self.. running after her ball.... bringing it to us... playing...
I am so confused and it is not like this is the first Corgi I have owned... but my first one wasn't like this at all! We are trying to make sure we don't "trigger" her but are we just ignoring the issue/issues that need to be addressed and how would we address them?
She loves to play with other dogs and people and has never been inappropriate with others....
