We were just outside playing and running and trying to get some nice Halloween pics. I set the treats on my picnic table and all of a sudden I had 2 of my 5 corgis standing on the table! They had jumped almost straight up to get there! My table is a regular height with no bench but I was surprised to see them do this. Actually it was Wynn and Bella and they did this with such ease at least twice! They did wait for me to lift them down...thank goodness!

Do any of your corgis jump this height?

Izzy has remarkable jumping skills but I don't know if she could get that high. She might if she wasn't so mild mannered. Fortunately Sparty has never been that springy but I think he would be smart enough to push a chair over. LOL Of course nothing is safe from Misty..
Ein usually doesn't jump onto stuff, and I assumed that he couldn't since he could barely pop his head up the bed and we can see his smiling face. (see picture below, he's not smiling in this one, but I just took a screenshot of a video of him popping up onto the bed) But one day, Ein jumped onto our bed and our bed is 3 feet tall! We were giving Brian praise and a treat on our bed since he went to go potty outside, then Ein got too excited and jumped onto our bed, instantly gaining attention...and a treat ;).

I was just shocked...mine always fly up the deck steps in one jump but this was soooo different, it caught me by surprise!

Both of mine easily jump into the back of my Subaru. I just measured and it's about 27 inches high. My dining room table is only 30 inches high, so I suppose if they got the idea they could jump onto a table. That's not to say they would, though. I was terribly surprised myself that the two are so similar in height. The dining room table looks much higher, probably because it's sitting in the open on legs and the table top is the highest point, where the back of a car is surrounded by stuff higher than it and is a more inviting-looking jump. Great picture, by the way! LOL
That is too funny! One of our corgis is a rescue and he jumped staight up onto our dining room table to pester the cat! He only did it once but I was really shocked! The table is 30 inches high and he was really thin when he came to us. He is now over a year old and has filled out quite a bit. Although he still jumps fairly high, I doubt he could do it again. I dont think my husband believed me when I told him about it. I'm glad to know he isn't the only one - I was beginning to think I had imagined it.
I was so surprised especially when my male did this...I guess they'll do anything for a treat but they were so quick especially Bella that she was up there b/4 I knew it and did this soooo easily as if it was normal!
