Peroxide...a safer solutionfor our furbabies and ourselves! Please add more!

Peroxide has been mentioned on here many times as something to have in a 1st aid kit BUT as a believer in this I would like to share more and this is the3%.
1. You can buy a large bottle of this at Target for.99.
2. It doesn't have the strong smell of bleach or Lysol but protects/kills many germs.Think of it like this...would you want your nose a few inches off a floor just cleaned with bleach or other chemical or might it make you eyes burn or your stomach upset from the strong odors?
3. You are not going to ruin things as you might using chemicals.
4.Chlorine was invented in the 40's to kill our troops and peroxide was invented in the 20's to save and help cleanse the needs of our troops and hospitals.

Uses for peroxide:
1.Clean and kill germs on counters...put a little on you dishrag.
2.I wash my floor with this as I want something safe for my pups and dogs!
3.Add 1 cup peroxide instead of bleach...doesn't wreck clothes!
4.Disinfect and clean dog bowls and toys..I just soak mine for 1/2 hour .
5.Soak toothbrushes in and use as a mouthwash!
6.Use on infections and cuts.
7.FLEAS...a bit of peroxide in the bathwater will kill them immediately...I sure hope this ones true...I haven't tried it!

Try this...take a cap of peroxide and sprinkle around one of you sink faucets...watch it fizz!

There's so many other uses this inexpensive cleaner can be used for...please add!

Jane...Great suggestions! I have used peroxide for years, but quite honestly, I haven't thought of some of your ideas. Instead of bleach, washing floors, killing fleas...WOW!!!! I wonder how we could use it to kill mosquitoes, hmmm.
Oh Christine...I have a non toxic mosquito spray one for the ground and one for bodies...I will have to find them b/4 that season! Very simple...I haven't tried the though!
I will try it. Our mosquito season isn't here yet, but I have Riley's Heartgard, will start that in April. I wish we could spray the bushes around the yard...the darn things lay their eggs in the Bitter Brush (grows wild). Last year was a very bad year for mosquitoes, especially in late June and July.
I just happened to think of a couple of things I've done for a long time...mouth rinse (I think that's on the label) diluted, especially if you have a sore in the mouth. Also, rinse the ears.
