Like all Corgis, mine sheds ferociously.  I question that I may be brusing too much, 2 to 3 times per day.  Would over brushing cause more than normal shedding?  I just got this wonderful little girl on a rescue deal and am learning about her.  Best dog I have ever had and I have had quite a few.

That they can't be so courteous as to blow coats at the same time (for multi corgi households), thus instead of only dealing with fur "puppies" twice a year, one is whelping fur "puppies" four, six, eight...times a year.
Gotcha!
I just tried Wendtworth corgis suggestion of 1 cup of fabric softener to 1 gallon of water put on as a rinse and left on for 5 minutes after their bath.(and then rinsed out)  I really do think it helped with the shedding. They still needed a good comb out but seem less hairy now several days after their bath. Another suggestion is to have your corgi professionally groomed because the comb out while they get blown dry removes most dead hair. My daughter does that with her huskys and says it is amazing. Good for you for rescuing, I think you will find corgis are well worth the extra hair in the house!
Fabric softener! OMG too funny, but if it works I will have to try!
Our groomer offered me to give Shiro their special de-shedding treatment when they brush, wash, blow dry, brush again. They said 5-6 sessions should reduce shedding. I would try it, but Shiro is terrified of blow dryers, in fact, when they tried it scared the crap out of him. Literally. So this is no longer an option :(
I ordered wild caught salmon oil to add to his food, will post the results.
Btw my boxer mix sheds like crazy too, but at least her hair is short.
I'm gonna have to try fabric softener on both of them.
Somebody else came up with a spray bottle of water, spray the area and rub until dry.  They claimed that worked great.  Problem with that is the cold here.  My poor girl would probably shake her booties off out there in the cold all wet.
Comet likes to leave tumbleweeds of fur all over my house.  I call them tumbleweeds because I have hardwood floors and I see these balls of fur just rolling around.  I've managed to reduce his shedding by switching to Beneful Healthy Radiance dog food and I use furminator shampoo on him every few weeks.  He still sheds, but I don't see as many tumbleweeds anymore.

My girl is blowing coat now in the middle of a very long cold snap, so go figure!  And my boy is losing some big tufts too, though I would not go so far as to say he is shedding.

I use a furminater on the male.  The female builds up static charge in her coat if I furminate, so I usually use a plain comb on her and it works quite well.
