Jasper is in love with anything that squeaks or makes noise. However, it seems like every toy or ball that I buy him that squeaks stops squeaking after a few days. I was wondering if anyone has encountered a toy that retains its squeak. Jasper isn't a powerful/destructive chewer, so it's not like he pulls the squeakers out and kills them. They just all of a sudden stop squeaking and then Jasp gets very upset trying to make said toys squeak again. If anyone has had a good experience with a squeaky please let us know! : ) Thanks!

Kong makes a series of toys that squeak and have similar material to tennis balls. Sparty can kill the squeaker in almost anything but these. Even the dobe can't kill them. They are a little pricey but they last.
Jack loves to eviscerate squeaky toys. Every now and then we buy him a cheapo one, just to let him tear it apart.

However, we got him a thing called "Cuz" which looks like a rubber ball with legs. We actually got him two; one stopped squeaking after awhile, but the other is still going strong.

Just a caution, though, that it appears that what is appealing to Jack about squeaker toys is being able to kill them. He is not really that enthusiastic about Cuz and normally only gets it if I specifically ask him for it (as he knows his toys by name and will usually humor me by bringing the one I request).
I have found that the Kong Wubby that is small and covered with cloth lasts a long time and also JW pet company makes several squeaky toys from small balls that bounce in weird directions to bones and weird shaped animals...they also come in bright colors. These toys are also rubber NOT latex! I have had mine a long time and have at least 2 dogs playing with them...these would be my suggestions! Good luck!
Poor Wubba lasted a day in our house.

Jack actively tries to tear the cloth off of things to see what is in the middle. Thank goodness for us it never occurred to him that our couch has stuffing in it.
Yep, we have one of these, Lilly chewed off the "legs" but it keeps on squeeking!
I actually realized that I have some of the Cuz balls that Beth talked about and 2 of mine love them and steal them from each other...these are also rubber (I believe) and the small balls are what they like and mine like to "throw" them and chase them so they keep themselves busy!
Dr. Noys KONG toys are wonderful... Brynne has the large curly lamb and she hasn't killed the squeaker yet. They actually come with a replacement squeaker (and you can buy additional squeakers separately). The belly of the animals has a velcro compartment that houses the squeaker. She does try to pull out the "wool" on the toy, but is otherwise relatively loving to her lamby.

There is a good selection of Dr. Noys toys on amazon.com. I recommend the large size for maximum cuteness as they drag them around!
look for thick, and I mean THICK plastic squeeky balls, or toys that have a noise box. eins fave is a sheep that "baas". The little plastic squeekers once they have a small hole in them thats it. I have gotten eins fave toys at an HEB.
Anyone ever have a "babble ball" it's hard plastic, so they can't get at the inside and says 20 different phrases in a very high squeeky voice.. but the voice is quiet enough that I can block it out. "good puppy" "grrr", etc. Lilly is just obsessed with it.
Never heard of it but it sure sounds great!
I googled and found them online,,, not too expensive since they do seem to last
Thanks for the ideas! Now we need to go toy shopping! :) Tucker loooooves squeaky toys. He is so good with them and never rips the stuffing out but they always stop squeaking pretty quickly. Then he obsessively tries to get it to work again and looks at it all confused.
