Al is stuck to the basement floor!  Some Super Glue dripped from a workbench project, he stepped in it, and -- just like the label says -- it bonds skin instantly!  His left front pad is stuck to the bare concrete floor.

He's panicking (I'm panicking).  I gave him a water bowl, but he can't even get out to pee.  I 'm afraid to tray to scrape him loose with a razor blade, or chisel out the floor.  I'm almost ready to call the Fire Department... but what can they do?  Do you think Poison Control could help?  Is there any kind of Super Glue solvent that is safe for skin?

He looks so miserable:

It gets worse!  While I've been so distracted, the children -- fascinated by this emergency -- got into the Super Glue themselves, and thought it would be fun to glue Gwynnie's ears down!  I think they were inspired by my tale of my Aunt Vivian, who, as a young girl, varnished my mom's hair (really).  So now Gwynnie's ears are both stuck flat to the top of her head:

I am so angry.  I know they're just kids, and I should have been supervising better, but they should know not to play mean tricks on an animal!

Help me!

If you're serious then acetone is your answer. Nail polish remover works. If not that's pretty hilarious.

April fools to you too!!

April Fool's to you, too, John!  Pthhttttttt!  LOL   Oh...and Al isn't doing a very good job of looking panicked....looks pretty darn mellow to me..heeeeheee

Oh...and if it's really really true, you could chip out the little square of cement around Al's paw so he can go out and pee....you'll have to change his name to Hoffa, though.  Ok....I know that's bad, but I couldn't resist.

Stupid April fools, I cant wait till this day is over.  LOL.  I was panicking myself when I first started reading this until I read about the ears.

Good one Ellen:)

No problem, just cut his foot off..he is so short he will hardly miss it. To insure this never happens again just super glue the kids to the side walk outside.      April Fools to you too!

All that toilet paper on the floor and they got superglued in the basement?

Cut Als leg off he doesn't need 4. And glue the kids hands together so they can't get into stuff anymore :-)

Nice try! I thought it was real until the ears. Is he stuck on the floor or laying on the couch :P?

Very cute, but you sure scared me for just a second!

Gwennie does look quite pitiful.  How'd you get her ears to stay like that?  Scout's corgi ears are so thick I'd be afraid to bend them back.  And I agree that Al looks way to relaxed.

P.S. Did you finally get your siamese twin (attached at the back) corgis separated.  I donated my life savings to their surgery last year... lol

Scared me too!!  If I could "unfriend" you. . . I would. . .but we're not friends. . . so consid

er it done!!
