I have a kong for Freya but that doesn't seem enough. After she had recently demolished her harness (while wearing it--sigh) I really need to get her a toy that she can play with in her crate. I was thinking that I should also get a Busy Buddy or a Buster cube as I know anything stuffed will not stand the test of Freya. Does anyone have any tips?

I really want a toy that I don't have to worry about too much while she's in the crate and I'm at work. I'm not sure if that is too much to ask or not--I also wouldn't mind something that would use her brain too and just for the chewing aspect.

Thank you

Ella has several toys that are holding up to the corgi chewing. 1- a nylon bone, hers is a Nylabone size small or medium. 2- a red chewy ball that I got from Wal-mart, it's a ball shape but has round spike things to put food in and it has a rope through it. 3- a large tied rope, like one for a much larger dog, ropes chews help clean their teeth.
She also has tennis balls and a squeaky ball, but these are not her chew buddies and when she takes the cloth off the tennis balls they are garbage. I don't buy anything "stuffed" for Ella because she would destroy it in no time, and dogs can choke on stuff and cloth.
I've noticed "Jeep" brand toys in the stores now and they are supposed to be for tough chewers, but have yet to test them out. The dumbbell they make looks like it may be fun for dogs.

My suggestion are to use only rubber toys as latex can be chewed up!!! I use jw toys that have squeakers in them and they come in about 30 different types and sizes and nice colors, these are my dogs faves and the balls are small enough for them to really play well with...they do not get chewed up either. Good rope toys are great and I have these holee rubber balls called holee rolee (couldn't read name real wel)l they are good and tuff too! Also cuz toys are good and durable...Nyla bones are great if your dog wioll chew on them...Tennis balls don't work for me as my dogs chew them up way too fast. You should be able to look them up online to see what looks like you might like!
Duncan has one of these toys, and hasn't destroyed it yet

They are rated for the type of chewer they are. You can check them out on ebay, they sometimes are cheaper.
Kong has a series called Air Kong. Some are squeaky, and they are yellow like a tennis ball but much stronger. Even the doberman can't tear them up. As far as while in the kennel, you really want something that helps her calm down so I recommend a kong with cheese or peanut butter in it. You can add some kibble too or freeze it to last longer. The idea is to help her learn to relax in the kennel while you are away. Usually they learn to sleep while you are gone. We always leave a little cheese in a kong for ours and they really love it!
I recently saw a toy at a local pet boutique. It was too expensive for us since it wouldn't get much use. We are home alot and so we don't have the need for too many toys to keep him busy. However I thought it was perfect for a Corgi's mind. It involves food and smarts. It's called the Everlast Bob-A-Lot.

It unscrews at the top to fill with as many treats or kibble as you want. Its weighted at the bottom so when your dog hits it it won't just fall over and roll around. The dog has to it the right way and then the treat will pop out of the one and only small hole. I'm not sure what it's made of to be honest but I don't think Midas would destroy it, and he destroys everything. If you are gone alot it might be worth investing in. It's $24.95, Yikes! I know, right? But it looks pretty ingenious. If that's too much for you I would just look at any interactive toys. Hope that helps!
That sounds a lot like the busy buddy I was looking at! I may try that if I can't find a bob-a-lot.
