I still can not believe the judge put up that deformed GSD instead of the personality plus Cardi or adorable Pem!!
Agreed! I just posted a mini-rant on another thread. I see more and more breeds looking awkward, and they win!
I am not even kidding..the Tri's markings look just like Ed's
And here are the Cardigans :-)

Aww, there was only one tri there. Out of curiosity, do BHTs ever appear at the bigger shows like that? It seems like I only ever really see red & white pems at the shows.
Im wondering the same thing. Watched last years video and same thing. One redhead. The rest red/white. Wonder why this is.
I think I saw that 2008's winner was a red-headed tri, so I guess it's possible for them to be chosen, but I can't think of a single time I've seen a black-headed tri at one of the really big shows. Maybe the black-headed tris just don't conform as well. BHT is a recessive trait, so maybe there are other traits that go with it which disqualify them?
Part of the standard is a "foxy look" and the BHT's do not really have that. Mine looks more wolf like. I am guessing that is the reason you rarely see them at a major show like that.
Red is the dominant color and by far the most common. It's just tough to get a RHT, and even harder a BHT, that's of the kind of quality to win at that level (because it's recessive and just not that common).
Plus, a lot of the Pem breeders are smaller hobby breeders and don't go on to the big shows like Westminster, so you're not seeing all the kennels represented.
