Nothing yet.>.< I e-mailed the Dog Park rep. yesterday and she said it would be up soon. I keep checking. Apparently you will be able go to the Parks Department and buy one from them directly as well, so if worse comes to worse I can take orders on here or something since I am not to far from Jefferson.

Dogs are so great in nursing homes. When my dad was in what turned out to be his final days and was in a nursing home after a surgery, it perked him up to  no end to see our little Asta. It got him talking to the other people there and made him feel so much better. One of the ladies had been there for about two weeks and hadn't said anything or shown any signs of interest in anything until we brought Asta in. She asked to see her and had me lift her up onto her lap and started telling me about her cat and her son's dog. The staff were astounded. This was in the olden days before animals in health care facilities were as common as they are now. It will do your mom a world of good to see them. Best wishes!

well, the boys went to see "grandma" at the nursing home today. yea, they were a hit. mom's roomie goes home tomorrow so, mom wanted the dogs to come in so she could see them. they were happy to see her and i know she was happy to see them. so, i imagine they will hac\ve to go at least once a week. they also visited with some of the other people there and the employees. didn't stay real long because it was warm in there.
