kim, that sounds great. i will be posting the list of what everyone is bringing later today. laina and klaus, spring would be great. i would look forward to that.
I was thinking I would bring a taffy apple salad, if that's ok? Or if there is something else needed just let me know.
I would most definitely be up for a meet-up in Eau Claire. I live near La Crosse and Johnson Creek is too far for a there-and-back trip for me as well. I am in Eau Claire quite frequently as my whole family lives in that area.
it's beginning to sound like everyone is a 4 hour drive from most places. if i can swing it, i am usually game to do road trips. and darcie, i have never had strawberry pretzel salad and am looking forward to trying it. computer was down a couple of days so will post list of what i have so far on saturday. i so missed my computer. but yet, if i'm gone for a dog show weekend, it doesn't even bother me. i think it had something to do with being able to see it just sitting there.
I love Eau Claire! I used to go there every year for the No Brand Con, but sadly I haven't been able to make it the last 2 years. :( It's a 4 hour trip for me as well, but it's a maybe (if I can convince my friend to go along with me lol).
@ Darcie & George How bitter-sweet! Sad because you didn't adopt her, but happy that she did get a home! Can't wait to meet you at the picnic!
Thought George and I were going to have to miss this year because we were going to adopt a new rescue-sister for him that day, but alas, she has been adopted out to another family. :(
SO I'll be bringing Strawberry Pretzel Salad. Can't wait!
Somebody posted this on the WI Corgi Picnic events page.
This is the information that I received - I wanted the address for my GPS:
It is W5098 K-9 Drive, Johnson Creek Wi 53038
If you are coming off I-94 you go south, past Kohl’s and Menards, you will go past stop lights and then the park is on the east side of 26 about an eighth to a quarter mile south. There are brown and white signs marking the Jefferson County Dog Park
