Hi. where is the picnic this year and date and time?
thanks.
Molly and I are really looking forward to being there! I will be happy to help with set up and/or tear down. (Molly and I are in Stevens Point, too, BTW :)
i like that wine idea. hehe ok, thanks for answering me.
Of course not! People like stuff too. :P In the past we have raffled picture frames, photo books, restaurant gift cards, Tupperware set and 1 year we even had someone donate a bottle of wine, so it's all good!
does everything donated for raffle have to be dog orientated? or can we think about the humans also? and amy--WELCOME!!! i have been tostevens point. of course, that was a few years ago, but i have been there. jack, joker and myself live in green bay. so, where did chito come from and what an interesting name.
Welcome to the group!!
I can always use help before the picnic to set up tables and chairs, and after to tear down and reload. I will be there at least an hour before the picnic (assuming I don't have Herp and Derp from the rental place loading my truck like I did last year lol). Also, I will gladly take items for the Raffle For Rescues (toys, treats, gift baskets etc.).
I am a new member to this group, and would love to join in the fun this Sept!! Chito and I live in Stevens Point, and have time to help with the event. Please let us know if we can help. Thanks.
I would like to do a Raffles For Rescues again as we have done in the past. I will have to talk to the Olive Garden and M.E. & My Pets again to see if they want to donate anything again this year. Also, if anyone has any items they would like to donate for the Raffle it would be greatly appreciated!!
Oki, just got off the phone with the Jefferson Co. Parks & Rec. They are sending me the permit paperwork so we can have our picnic there this year! I told them Sept. 8 OR Sept. 15 as a rain date. So the next question is would you rather do noon-4 or 1-5? I will be starting my flyer soon also and get that posted here and if anyone wants to cross-post it onto another group that will be ok as well. Oh yea, and the lady in charge of the dog park asked if she could e-mail everyone who has a dog park permit that has a corgi, and I said yes, so we may have a few new faces coming.
Wow! Green Bay is very far north. It is about 4 hours according to Mapquest.
I traveled about 3 1/2 hours to Freeport last year and about 4 hours to the Wisconsin Corgi Picnic. I wish there was more stuff closer to my area.
