hey lynne, how's it going? have you heard anymore? thinking about you all everyday. we had dog shows over in iowa this weekend. joker picked up his 2nd AKC point and his first Best of Breed. it was a nice weekend, but cool and windy, but the sun was out so  it didn't seem that bad most of the time. you take care. later

The test results are back, it is NOT cancer! Bucher is doing well! My back is feeling a little better!! All the carrying him around has taken it toll. A big sigh of relief!! He gets his staples out on Tuesday & they will check his blood count then also. Keeping our fingers crossed that everything is normal. Thanks for all your support!

it's late, the snow finally stopped this morning. they say we got a little over 10". i don't see where. jack made it though birthday number 11. didn't do anything special, except sneaking him a bit of bacon (he's on a diet). oh, and they both ot a whole large-dog size milk bone tonight. joker's on a diet also. he needs to take off about 5 lbs. so, i hope all is well. lynne, have you heard anything?? please let us know. holding you in our heart. take care

Bucher had his surgery Friday, it was a very rough night Fri. night but he was doing much better Sat & a good night last night! The surgery went well, he wasn't under very long. Vet said everything looked good inside, we will get results back from the tumor this week some time. Thanks all!

Test results are all back.  No sign of cancer or fibromolosis (sp??). :)  We now have scheduled the surgery for Friday.

We have the surgery re-scheduled for Monday.  I called the vet where we had the ultra sound done and he thinks we have check everything we can to be sure it isn't cancer and he would also go ahead with the surgery.  So we are just waiting for the final test to come in.  Edgerton vet (ultra sound) said that the hyperplasia would make sense with the tumor on the spleen.  I'll keep you posted!  Thanks!
