Charity and I will come to the picnic and will bring a dish to pass. What's needed and for how many people?

Ok, not getting a big response for who's bring what to eat. I know we still have a bit of time, but I am trying to keep a list. also, we need donations in any shape or form. we are going to have many baskets for the raffle. been busy. we even have some basket donations coming in from Oklahoma. Please remember this is for an excellent cause, actually 2. Corgi Aid and FaerieLand Rescue. FaerieLand has donated for the raffle also. So, people , come on. Let's make this the best Wisconsin Corgi Picnic ever.................then we can work on topping this years next year.

So far, we have Libby Taylor bringing Beer cheese Dip and Pretzels, Patrick is bringing the watermelon and Jamie Lemke is bringing Summer Salad.

we have only a month left. (I like to get things done early) will be taking donations up until Sept. 5. If you are going to donate to the raffle, please let me know. If you are going to bring your donation to the picnic, please let me know. my E-mail is: corgi97@aol.com. please put CORGI PICNIC in the subject line so I don't toss ya into spam. Thanks much to all.................

Shiloh found a home!  I didn't even think of this old friend of mine and he was missing his Ausie he had to put down at age 14.  He came and picked her up tonight and is totally happy with the match!

Hi everyone,

I have a very upsetting situation going on.  we have 3 corgis, 1 basset hound, 1 rescued terrier.  My 4 year old black-headed tri keeps attaching my older girl corgi, age 8.  We have had 4 dog fights this week.  It is horrible at our house right now.  It is only the 2 girls that fight, everyone else gets along fine.  I'm not sure why this happening now, since we have raised both dogs from being pups.

I would like to find a home for my 4 year old female tri, even though it breaks my heart, but we are walking on pins and needles around the house and have to keep them separated at all times.  Please let me know if someone out there would like to adopt her.  My email address is jviney@tds.net

Well we have almost 1 month to go before the picnic!! I know I'm really excited to see everyone again!

Like last year, we are going to try and generate a food list, so if you know what you are bringing to the picnic please e-mail Vicky Hyde at corgi97@aol.com, please put ion the subject line CORGI PICNIC so that she knows it isn't junk mail. So far we have plates, napkins, silverware, soda and water covered. I have also rented some tables and chairs like I did last year, but depending on the number of people who come you may want to bring a lawn chair just in case--you may or may not need it as the park also has some picnic tables and such. I also know that I will have 3 EZ ups for shade, but if you would like to bring one and set it up, it would be appreciated, just let Vicky know. Also, we are taking items for the Raffle For Rescues, so if you plan to bring an item, again, e-mail Vicky. Any item will be accepted, it doesn't necessarily need to be dog or Corgi-related.

The picnic starts at 1 p.m., but I will be there at 11:30 a.m. to set up, so I am looking for a few people who can guarantee they can come early to also help set up--unloading chairs, tables, setting up EZ ups, etc. I would also like a few people to help tear down, reload the trailer, make sure we have cleaned up any messes at the park after the picnic is done at 5:00.

Hope to see everyone there!!!!
