Hello, all, we're from Napa, Ca. We are planning this year's camping trips. Anyone have some favorite camping sites in northern Ca. Some camping pictures on our page. Will check in often.

We let Beauregard run around when we camp. He likes to mark his territory and then patrol the perimeters :) My in-laws take their quads when we go camping and Beau has decided he is a riding dog, not a running dog like their Beagle. If you are not the lead quad, he will want to get down and run to the quad in front. :) We just got Tegan, so we haven't been able to take her camping. I'm a little worried how she will act because she has this thing with barking at and chasing cars...

Most parks we go to require leashes but my two really don't wander off. We have a fence we put up around our large rug so we don't have to leash them all the time. Izzy hates to be tied out and I think she goes out of her way winding it around everything in protest. If we have the dobe with us she has to be leashed. We just traded our trailer for a motor home so I can not wait for our first trip!

I love looking at everyones pictures with their babies!! We go camping quite a bit, with our horses. My two go with us, but Tess my girl who is kinda chubby she gets too tired to keep up so then she has to ride on the back of the horse with me. Do your corgi's like to go visit people when you camp? I have never leashed my dogs, I can walk anywhere and they are right beside me and never move but when we are camping Tess likes to go visiting. She will go a little ways and wait to see if anyone catches her, then if no one sees, she goes a little farther, waits, then makes a break for it. Then I usually find her with kids somewhere fishing or playing ball or something!! She is so different from my boy Tuff. He is very unsociable, I mean he isnt mean or anything he is just a mommas boy. haha and the animals we run across when camping! Tess is all for getting it, and so is Tuff until he gets to close and he is one of the biggest chickens ever! I can't wait for winter camping and having the two of them to keep me warm! yay!

That should be beautiful! It's now too cold for us to go camping in our favorite spots and I refuse to go desert camping because I'm afraid of Rattlesnakes and Tarantulas! We will probably start camping again in the Spring if my husband gets drawn for Spring Turkey.

Well, camping is done for us until next spring! However, we make most of our summer reservations six months in advance. The really nice parks fill up in minutes for summer weekends. Our first camping trip is the Tulip Festival in Holland, Mi. It is a state park on Lake Michigan that is one of the few with full hookups. You never know what the weather will be but we always enjoy it!
