My husband and I are planning a 9,000 mile expedition around the USA. Pretty much off-road camping in all different National parks. I was wondering if anyone has done something like this before and…Continue

I was looking in to getting Jazmin her own backpack. I know that Annabelle's won't fit her so time to look again. I didn't have any issues with Annabelle and her's but just wondering if it would hurt…Continue

Al is one tough corgi!
Al's second campfire, end of Day 7. With far betting clothing than wool, pile, and goretex, Al seemed uninterested in the fire's warmth, and curled up at a distance:
Cold, damp, dark, gloomy, in the middle of Nowhere, beside a loud stream on an abandoned trail, Glacier Peak Wilderness. Beside the dying fire, after I'd hoisted the food in the bear-hang, Al stared out into the dark silent night and made one loud, sharp BARK!, the only sound he made in 9 days. That got my attention. What was that about?
You only need 1 corgi on a 3-dog-night because it fits inside your wet sleeping bag:
Late afternoon, Day 8, back to Civilization! The Pacific Crest Trail looks like a freeway after an afternoon trying to follow a forgotten trail through the Cascade jungle, and very nearly getting lost. Photo taken by the first person we've seen in 3 days. It's Easy Street from here on out. One more night. Al thinks this is normal.... so I've changed my password so Al can't see Bev's RV...
We had a great weekend trip camping at the end of January. Scout (pup) was a real trooper and did very well hiking. Daisy was on guard all night in the tent and I don't think she slept a wink. When we got home Sunday night she went straight to bed and did not even get up for dinner. That was one tired corgi! Even though it was January we saw a snake and came home with a few ticks! We also got to see many deer and a rowdy bunch of raccoons! We had a great time!
Lol to Elizabeth :).Bev,hope all is getting better with poor Sparty.Corgis are never good with bandages on their feet.Had to add another friend's pet to My prayer list. They have 2 sister Westies and 1 now has cancer in her mouth. She's only 51/2.They've decided to follow up with radiation. Not good.Hang is there, and hope Spring comes early to Your area!!
We have our camping reservations made through the end of July. I can not wait and am very envious of you, Judy and Alan! Our first trip won't be until the 1st weekend in May since even though our Michigan winter is mild it is still a high of 38
Just over to the coast near Us here. We've had a super mild Winter so it's warm enough to head out to play.Supposed to have a little rain, but no biggy with corgis :).
Heading out for a 3-day camping trip this weekend.RV here at the house getting packed.Keri girl went charging up the steps and tried to get in when I was herding them into the truck to go for a walk at Our off leash park. She wanted to go NOW!!NONE OF THIS WAITTING FOR A FEW DAYS.Silly dog :).
We got back from Our "Winter Trip" on 1/9/12.Spent 2 weeks near Santa Barbara,San Diego and of course to Anaheim(Disney).Never felt like Winter once!!Temps got up to 85 some days and no rain.Weirdest Winter in a long time.Ready to head back up to real camping, but most of Our favorite spots are closed for Winter.Redwoods are calling Us :)
