Comment by Keri&Merlin(Judy&Alan's Pups) on January 14, 2012 at 9:10pm We got back from Our "Winter Trip" on 1/9/12.Spent 2 weeks near Santa Barbara,San Diego and of course to Anaheim(Disney).Never felt like Winter once!!Temps got up to 85 some days and no rain.Weirdest Winter in a long time.Ready to head back up to real camping, but most of Our favorite spots are closed for Winter.Redwoods are calling Us :)
The tale of two camping trips:
State park= Dirt, beautiful forest, beach, noise, no water or sewer and did I say DIRT!
Private campground=Grass, pretty landscaping, quiet, water and sewer, clubhouse, mini golf, pool, etc and did I say NO DIRT!!
I am officially getting old, I guess...loved the Private park. With 3 dogs dirt really gets old. Our next trip is to another beautiful State park and I am dreading the Dirt!
