It'd be super far for you, but a group of us from this forum took our Corgis up to this place in Canton/Waleska area to do a herding instinct test. It was a lot of fun! It's called "The Canine Ranch". http://www.thecanineranch.com/
This is going to sound crazy. Is there a place where you can take your Corgi to light up their DNA instincts to herd. Winston does herding things all of time. i would love to find some sheep, goats or something to see if he would instinctively try to herd. It seems a shame that they should not have the opportunity to experience their heritage.
Oops! I might be in trouble for adding that. I'm sorry if I have screwed up. All I know is I am going to try to go hug some puppies this weekend!
Guess what is going on at Oglethorpe University in a few weeks?? Atlanta's Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Julbilee Celebration! They have a FB page. Here's what it says...Join us for Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Family Festival. This event is being hosted at Oglethorpe University, from 10:00am until 4:00pm.
I wonder if corgis are welcome?
OK That sounds good
Anywhere you go will be far from home I see that you live in northern Gwinnett. Dino doesnot care to go downtown but it appears that is close for you
I was thinking of after services for sure! I need to talk to my hubby. He just got back from a trip to Asia and may or may not be up for carting corgis around Sunday. What park are you thinking about?
