Is anyone planning to join the fun at the Illinois Corgi Picnic in Freeport on September 11 ?

I just need a head count so I know how much chicken to defrost and throw on the grill!    Right now due to the weather, we might have a smaller crowd.  All we ask is that you bring along chairs, ezups if you have them(we seriously have no shade on the farm) and sidedish/dessert.  Oh and a sense of humor.

Pool will be open for the dogs(wading pool that is), full fenced yard, iced tea and lemonade(you are welcome to bring other beverages), chickens and ducks to harass, horses to bark at and those adventerous can take a walk down to the creek for a dip.  Agility equipment will be out also.

Just attended the Dog Bowl in Frankenmuth Michigan. They have it every Memorial weekend and there were lot's of events going on. Everything from lure coursing to agility to dock diving. Loads of fun in a cute little town!

Thanks Jane! Guess we won't make it as it's a 6 1/2 hour drive without any pit stops!
