I'm so excited for the corgi walk on Saturday. Noodles is all bathed and will be looking his best to meet some new friends. This year, both his Grammie and Gramps are coming.
I have posted some pictures of the corgi walk both in a blog post and then on my page.
Lynde-
I'll be sending e-mails your way with the pictures my husband edited.
I know that there is a monthly Corgi meetup in Portland, but I also know that there are at least three Corgis in my grandmother's neighborhood alone, and that I bet there are plenty more that would like to join up if I could just locate and invite xD
Alison, yes, back to Salem it is for us! We would love to meet up still :D
On a side note, I've been really scrounging around, looking for Corgi owners in Salem (tough to do from across the country, so I've really only found one other person so far, and their Corgi/Border Collie is a mix), who would be interested in a Corgi get together :) (Maybe a monthly one, even, though I would be more than happy to even get one!!!)
I'm so glad that you enjoyed the Walk this year. We had 306 dogs registered (Corgis and dog siblings of Corgis). I'll know how much we raised by the end of this week. You're right, we had lots of puppies this year :). When you get the photos edited, please send to my aol account:LyndePaule@aol.com. Thanks, Lynde
It was another wonderful Corgi Walk! My husband took tons of pictures and now he has to find the time to edit them. Once he does, I'll put up a post with some of the various pictures. The weather was just perfect. I couldn't believe how many puppies there were this year.
Kimberly-
I missed not getting to meet you and Ziggy. Here's hoping to finally getting to meet you two next year. Also, when you do move back here, will you be living in Salem? If so, maybe we could find a time to meet up and introduce our boys to each other.
We were supposed to be arriving in Oregon (moving from New Hampshire) tomorrow but our travel plans changed because they couldn't accommodate Ziggy, and I can't leave him behind, so I have to stay here with him for a few more days. :)
Okay, I am SO BUMMED :(
Thanks to my Corgi, I will be missing the Corgi Walk... Talk about irony, huh? :P
We won't be attending this year after all, but hope to see everyone next time around.. Siiiiggghhh haha
Hi everyone-
This weekend we are launching the Corgi Walk web site that will contain all of the informaiton for the 6th annual Corgi Walk in the Pearl. Nothing has changed but the date (8/17).
