I believe that our furry friends, especially corgis are very important in human health. When we look at them we forget ourselves. We forget for a little while our aches and pains, our stress levels drop, our hearts become calmer, perhaps our sugar levels also 'normalise' as we become calmer. I always stop so children [or the elderly] can pat my boy. We are so fortunate with the love we receive, there is more than enough to share around.

I am a volunteer at a local rescue center, I walk dogs. I do so well with dogs, they have me walk some of the scarier dogs (Pits and Dobies) and we do just fine. Copper will be 6 months old on Nov. 29th. We will continue with training and I have not decided whether to take the route of therapy dog or agility training-competition. I think he would be a really good therapy dog, in fact, I took him to my Chiroprator (who also works on animals) and we were sitting by a site impaired girl and she suggested that he would be a really great therapy dog because he so gentle and laid back yet friendly with everyone.

My husband's office has a couple "take your dog to work" days and he took the corgis. Unfortunately Izzy (weak tummy) who is extremely cute and affectionate was over treated. Now we have icky butt etc. I told him next time she wears a sign that says pet but do not feed! The funny thing was when my son spilled some cereal on the floor at home that morning he had to pick it up himself! With corgis that is never the case. Holidays are a good time to remind the guests to drop NOTHING on the floor.

Hello Wendt Worth Corgi's
I am Paula and my gorgeous boy Taffy often comes to work with me. I am a professional counsellor, Tarot reader & Teacher. I spend a lot of time on my own and he follows everywhere. He is especially good with sad or vulnerable clients. Usually he sits very close, sometimes on their laps and gives them kisses and lots of love. Most people enjoy and appreciate the attention. Once a young man came up the stairs and stepped into my office before we could greet him at the door. He had skinned knuckles and I felt very ill-at ease, no one would hear us.I felt that he had come to cause trouble. Taffy [the master of all his domain] came up to check him out and looked at him. I am sure that Taffy's presence calmed him and he left quickly.

Good idea, they can help us clean the kitchen. Just put em on the counter and let the corgi vacuum go.
