Spoiled Rotten Corgis

For all the corgis out there who are doted on by your families, get your own way, and are basically spoiled beyond belief. I would love to hear your stories.

Miso is 13 weeks old, and she's already spoiled rotten! Everywhere we go, everyone is like 'OMG CUTE PUPPY!' and gives her lots of love and petting! Even at the vet's office, she got pampered with love from the techs and even the doctor! And when we were done at the vet, she got a mega-sized pupcake from Three Dog Bakery, which took her an entire day to finish! She's also got cookies, and I'm sure I'll be stopping in to get her some special puppy ice cream in the next few days! When she gets older (and bigger, she only weighs 7 lbs!), I'm definitely planning on bringing her out to Three Dog and getting her a sundae, as well. Right now, she'll probably be good with just a spoon full of ice cream.

Goodness, but Miso is a spoiled rotten puppy already, even though we've only had her for a little over a week! She even got to chase the cat today. She was a happy pup!

At work the other day I was wondering out loud what kind of game to play with the boys when I got home as it was raining. Something like " what kind of game could we play inside today since it is rainy to keep the boys entertained". My boss replied that he could not believe I was thinking about that. He seems to think I have the most spoiled critters on the planet...he is probably right.

Thankfully the boys do not tend to be overweight..just like men LOL. I know it is common for Corgis, but seemingly not Leo and Randy. Fresh, raw veggies are popular with mine. Carrots and Green Beans are a treat. My neighbor grows a huge garden so it is easy for me to get fresh certain times of the year.

So we are trying Twinkie on a diet fortified with vegis. She is a little, how do you say, "big boned" and a new Corgi friend suggested green beans in her kibble. We tried it yesterday and she ate all the kibble and left every bean! Tonight we tried peas and carrots. I think we are on to something. We will have to see if we can get her to drop a few lbs. Its swimsuit season you know.

I agree with Cindi, do your Corgis get to play on the beach every day. No need to be embarrassed about spoiling your Corgi. They are so darn irresistible that it is hard not to spoil them. Takes super human strength I think.

It looks like its good to be the Corgi at your house!

I have resisted joining until now because I hate to admit how spoiled my corgis are! We try not to but they have trained us well!

Twinkie must have been trying to make sure there was a bone for later..LOL. Spoiled Corgis think everything is for them (as this is usually the case). With 2 spoiled Corgis in the house I have to have lots of everything (chewies, bones, toys, food, etc.) so they both feel that everything is for them. The boys are actually not feeling spoiled lately as I have been keeping them out of the living room. Every time they come into the living room they frap and I think it is too dangerous an area to be going mach 4. I'm sure Leo is telling Randy "if we were truely spoiled we would get to frap all over the house".

Are spoiled and selfish the same things? I wish I had a camera yesterday. I could hear Twinkie chewing on something and for safety's sake, thought I should check it out. She was under the dining room table chewing on a bone with her foot on another one. Wouldn't want the other dogs around here to have one.

Muffin isn't a dog...she is a Corgi (much more special than a dog LOL). Randy is getting to be pretty spoiled now too. Takes after big brother in all things I guess. I'm surprised this group does not have more members...with Corgi mind control and such. Welcome all you spoiled Corgis who have joined.
