Spoiled Rotten Corgis

For all the corgis out there who are doted on by your families, get your own way, and are basically spoiled beyond belief. I would love to hear your stories.

Yes, a new couch. It was for me now all I have to do is wipe the hairs off. The doberman does not care for it so I put some dog beds in the living room. I guess she is as spoiled as the corgis!

Yes, they sure can make messes. Grass and mud on the carpet if I don't get there feet wiped well. But then they give you a big grin with bright brown eyes and what can you do? I just clean up the mess. (Am I well trained or what)?

Bev, you have a new couch? Who is the spoiled one here?

Yes, I can always tell who was laying on the back of the new couch (a no no) by thre red and white hairs! They leave a cute little trail don't they?

I wanted to take Walk with me on my trip but the hubbie said no :( but I did not expect him to get sick, I travel 2 times a year and he always stays with my sister! It was just kinda funny!
Its so neat to hear that this happens to everyone! (well not that they get sick) but that they love so deeply! its very flattering! I have settled on the fact that these corgi friends are the very best dog ever! I have not found one thing I dislike! even the hairy hair hair amuses me! :)) thanks guys for sharing all ur input!

Sparty got stress induced colitis once when we were away so I know they miss us a lot. I think Izzy would be OK as long as she was not kenneled all day. She is happy with anyone petting her. We always hire someone to stay at our house. With multiple animals it actually is less expensive and less traumatic. Now that my son moved back home he is there but they do get less attention. I prefer traveling with them but sometimes it is just not possible.

I agree, I am most happy when I am with my princess. There is almost nowhere that I would rather be then home with my family, the furry kind included!

Corgis are very attached to us and loyal. They are very much like young kids that don't except change all that well unless they've grown around it and have learned to except it. I know from being home all the time that if one or two days out of a 3 month period I am gone for most of the day..my husband tells me that all the dogs sit by the side door waiting for me or with every passing car its a race to the side door til I finally arrive. LOL My husband also thinks that if something were to happen to me that my bubby, Winston, would die of a broken heart. He is very connected to me and so is Meagan.

She's never been left so even when she thinks I might she stresses. We had an issue once when I had a contest and had to take two changes of clothes. When I got home about 4 I had very stressed puppy! It's best to start leaving them early if you think you will ever have to kennel them or they sleep over!
