About Me:
I'm an energetic and outgoing person who enjoys spending time with her animals, reading, writing, and going geocaching. I just recently graduated from college with my bachelor's degree and am considering pursuing my master's, but haven't decided yet. I'm a bit of a history dork, too, especially when it comes to learning about the use of K9 units or women's military history.

Currently, my menagerie includes three guinea pigs (two Americans and one Abyssinian) named Guinevere, Parabola and Amadeus; a red-bellied parrot named Pandemonium; and, of course, my cute little red-headed Pembroke princess, Merriam.
Welsh Corgi Breeder?
No
About My Corgi(s):
Tailwind Combat Wombat aka Merriam is the newfound love of my life. The smartest puppy I have ever met, with a mixture of enthusiasm, boundless energy, affection, and ornery mischief. She is mostly well-mannered, except the occasional attempts to herd my parents' cocker spaniel mix, or my younger siblings. She is quick to pick up on things, though, and always ready to "defend" her family from such evil intruders as ... the lawn mower! So far, she has won all of her battles.
I have:

One week.

One week in, and already things have changed so much with my freckle-tummied little stub wagger. She is almost sleeping though the night. Last night, we went to bed around midnight, and she didn't wake me up until seven-thirty in the morning! Which surprised me, since I didn't think she was capable of holding it that long at the age of ten weeks. In any case, it was a nice break from the ~4:30 wakeup call I had been getting in between sleeping for the past six days. Although anticipated, it… Continue

How it all began ...

So you could say my interest in the corgi breed began about six years ago, when I first saw Cowboy Bebop. Ein was naturally my favorite character, not only for his wit and charm, but because he was an animal, and I was an avid animal lover already, so that made him number one in my book! I never really researched the breed, considering I was still living with parents and I knew they wouldn't permit a kid to get a dog all of their own.

When I started going to college, though, I knew… Continue

Caroline, here is a bit of info on a 15 month old Corgi boy looking for a home. The contact number is in the email. Let me know if it works out for you!

The owner is the 19-year-old son of Connie Stevens, a realtor in Lincoln. Connie has significant allergic reaction (hives) and nothing seems to work to keep the reaction under control. They tried bathing him weekly, daily brushing, vacuuming 2x day, etc. and she doesn’t want to routinely take Benadryl. Her son graduated from high school last spring. He wants to keep the dog and move out of the house, but it sounds like that’s not feasible. Here’s what I know about the Corgi from Connie:

He’s a 15-month red & white Pembroke Corgi with a great personality. He has lived with this family since June 2009. His previous owners are from Crete; they didn’t have time for him. He is AKC registered and neutered. Connie’s son purchased him for $150 and now is free to a good home.

Connie’s # is 432-0166. I don’t know her other than she’s a realtor. We connected through our vet who called me because we have a Corgi-loving family and thought I might be able to help her. I will continue to help as you request.

Thanks, Kristen! We’re looking forward to more information about the Star City Parade.

Our Pembroke Sunny & Pembroke/Border Collie Cher, along with Sunny’s sister Mable who lives in Seattle with our son wish this little guy all the best. We love those Corgis!!!!
