Anna suggested I post the link to the article on acupuncture that I found on her link about grain feed foods. I found it a very good explanation of the practice and a realistic view of what it can…Continue

We had to let our Max go yesterday. His left leg was useless and the right one was failing rapidly. He hated both the sling and the cart. The last several days he was losing control of his…Continue

The DM has progressed with Max so that he has very little use of his left hind leg and the right is weak tho not as bad. This has become a real issue the last 2 days. We have a cart for Max and my…Continue

I told you how Max & Katie's breeder took back one of her dogs and how our emails crossed with me updating her on Max's condition and her wanting to know if we would be interested in this guy. Well, you can't argue with fate. Things happen for a reason. The earliest he will be coming to live with us is mid to late October...she is very busy right now with shows, she is…

She's not a corgi but I have to show her off anyways. She...who doesn't have a name yet...is a 3 month old black GSD. My daughter picked her up Friday and things appear to be going very well. No accidents the first night at all and no whimpering being in a…

Thanks Linda!
Linda, Does Max seem well after his surgery? I remember that the path report was not conclusive. Does he have a good outlook as far as you know? I hope so as we sure want these big handsome fluffs to stay well.
Thanks for the comment on the post, we appreciate it!
Thank you for the photo love :)
Hi Linda,
Did you ever see my pic of Sage with the Irish Wolfhounds? She was young and a bit intimidated by them...haha! I always thought I would like to have 1-2 but never will.
Hi Linda, This has been a long winter! -18 tonight with windchills colder than-40. Most schools are already closed due to the blizzard but also due to the windchills. Not nice at all!
Linda, Thanks for your kind thoughts about the deaths of Lady and my bro-in-law. I must mention that it happened about 25 years ago -- I neglected to make this clear in my post. I learned only last weekend that Lady was over 20 years old and wandered off to die just 3 weeks after MIke's death -- perhaps not coincidentally. Just a funny-lookin' mutt, and an important dog.
