Hello!I just got my boy, Frankie, yesterday and he is amazing! He is almost 6 months old, so he is a bit bigger and more adult looking, but has a great personality! I did a lot of research before I…Continue

"Up to seven months you have fast growth and then you have a slower growth curve gradually tapering off until fully mature around age two years. Your hands and eyes will guide you, as they do now. He may be a small specimen for the breed, or a large…"

"I think it depends on your pup's activity level, and from what you describe he looks good. My breeder said they get to their adult weight around two years old, and while they grow it will go up and down. Bogart is 14 months, 24-25 lbs, and gets…"

Hello! Monja and I just got back from the vet who said he is 20 pounds on the dot. Monja is about 7 months old. He doesn't really seem overweight to me and I can easily feel his ribs when I touch them but otherwise can't see them. He also has that hourglass figure with a defined waist. I still give him 2 cups of kibble everyday (once in the morning and once at night), along with some treats or other little additions to dinner, like small pieces of chicken, apple, etc. First, I'm wondering if…See More

"I don't know how long the walks were but since he is under one year I would keep the walks shorter (15/20 min) for at least 2 times a day. Two of my corgis were not very active. Izzy is perfectly happy with a couple short walks a day but will…"

"Beez loves playing with his lure toy. If your living room is big enough, you can really get him running around. The walks will improve as you practice, but this is good for days where the weather is bad, or as a supplement to walks:…"

How To Exercise a Dog Who Hates Walks + Questions About Walks

Hello!I have now had my six month old boy, Monja, for about two weeks! I've loved my time with him so far. :)The first few days I had him, we went for long walks and, though timid, he seemed fine. Then all of a sudden he would just stop in the middle of the walks and wouldn't budge. We started taking very short walks after that and sometimes last week he would just go outside to potty and then he would literally RUN home because he hated being outside. He has made some progress in the last few…See More

I'm jealous that you get your baby sooner than I do!! Is he your first corgi? Rorey is my first, but definitely not my last! I'm sure you'll get an awesome name picked out in no time! :D

Hi Melyssa! I see you also are about to get your corgi! I pick my Rorey up in a few weeks, so maybe it would be fun to experience new corgi-motherhood together! Post pictures of your puppy soon! I'm sure he's adorable!!
