Corgi Nation - Need opinions on Limp

Lolly walked this past Friday with her boyfriend on pavement and up and down steps for around 45 minutes.  Its been so hot here this summer that she has not gotten much exercise.  Only maybe 30 minutes of walking on the grass.  She is 11 months old.  Later that night she started limping on her right back leg when she first stands up.  Once she is up and walking the leg does not bother her at all and she walks normally.  Since I am leaving town for two weeks on Thursday, I took her to the Vet on…See More

Ticks

I removed a tick from my dog that had probably been on her for 3 to 4 days.  I feel like I removed the whole tick but there is a very small raised white spot remaining from where I removed the tick.  No swelling or anything abnormal.  Just the small raised white spot.  Is this any reason for concern?  It's been 3 weeks....See More

Jumped out of Car

Okay, I pulled up to the Agway as we were buying bird seed and a little treat for Tootsie. I put all the windows down and was walking to the passenger side to get Tootsie to put on her lead when she jumped out the window and took off. Well, she came back and all ended well but now I am worried that she have hurt her front legs from the jump out the window. I have a Land Rover and the window is probably 4.5 feet off the ground. She isn't acting like anything hurts but I can't believe that she is… Continue

I just wanted to say I am so sorry for your loss. I actually lost my best friend and baby Molly just before the summer, so I know exactly how you feel. She was five, and she still had many years ahead of her, but she died because of a brain disease known to her breed. Pug encephalitis. I didn't know how I could deal with it. All I can say is keep her in your heart, and she will always be with you. She loved you, always. And I really hope for the best for you.
