Lando Oliver and his ear.

I hate it. He shook his head the other day and his bandage flew off. I hate that his ear is damaged, it looks horrible. I hate it, I hate it, I hate it. He seems no worse for the wear though, my widdle boo boo.

Lando Oliver and his ear.

The vet said his bandage can stay on for five days. The problem is

1. I have tried to gently start removing the tap around the base of his ear and he is yelping, not sure I can even get to removing the bandage. If he is that sensitive I don't think I will even have the chance to get to the bandage. Should I take him back to the vet to take remove it, I don't want him to associate me with this mess.

2. I am really scared to see what his poor little ear will…

My beautiful and brave Lando Oliver

Lando Oliver is now missing a small part of his ear and has a puncture wound above his eye. Rexx attacked him again. There was blood everywhere including my face. We got him to the vet and he is stitched up. I am devastated by this and we have nearly decided to have Rexx euthanized. My love Lando Oliver was wagging his nub and being his friendly little self at the vet and I am so upset that he had to go through that.

Please send good vibes to my Lando Oliver to get better…

Lando Oliver poops when scared.

Rexx again attacked Lando Oliver, rexx has these phases where we think he is not all their and it lasts for a few days. Bootsie will show his tummy when Rexx goes over to him but I guess LO ha a little more domination but rexx is a bigger dog. Anyhow LO will not only pee but poop when rexx goes for him, how strange is that. LO pees when he is excited but doesn't poop. Like he will pee sometimes when someone comes over. Can this happen.

LO doesn't seem to have any undercoat, only thing that comes out is long top coat (white or red). Usually when petting him so I know that it is his topcoat. Bootsie just got about a ton of undercoat out last night, that is the more shorter hairs right?

My 20th anniversary is coming up and want to dress Lando Oliver and Bootsie up for some pics. Anyone know where I can buy these kind of clothes.

Something strange happened.

As you know I have a rescue lab/chow/pittie mix or something of the sort. He has these strange episodes that culminate in agressiveness against the corgs. His strangeness usually happens over a few days. We have had forest fires around here resulting in a lot of smoke and for 3 solid days last week he stayed in the back yard ALL day. We reckon he may have been protecting us or maybe there was a bitch in heat around us. What do you all think.

Blunted teeth

Now I am really worried. I noticed LO canines are blunted now I see some of his back teeth are too. By blunted I mean it looks like they have been grinded down. Does anyone know why this happens,.

The boys and the beach.

The boys went to the beach last night. The weren't too sure of the waves and kept running away from them. Lando Oliver was a little trouper, walking with his nub up in the air like he has walked the beach for years. It was fun.

Butt dog and belly up.

That's right I get the wrong end of Lando Oliver in my face at night and Bootsie always falls asleep with his belly up. So now these are my nics for my corgs.

OH NO

My baby Bootsie boo was playing fetch with LO and he screeched and couldn't walk back. He seems to have done something to his right leg, what do I do. His little back legs are shaking I think because he is scared.

I love watching my corgs eat.

They look so happy and I love that I give them that pleasure. Tonight for their evening snack they had apple and yoghurt and I delighted in sitting on the floor watching them.

LO has become a growler and I don't like it.

He is showing teeth to Rexx and me if I get too close. He growls at Bootsie in the bed when he tries to get near me. LO wants all the loving for himself. I cuddle him and get to close to his belly or feet and he snaps at me, he knows not to make contact but what is all this about.

Max and my heart.

I just came across a photo of my Max. It was one that we took at our house before taking him to the vet to go to Rainbow Bridge. It is still hurting my heart and I loved him so. His Rainbow Bridge day is on Aug 7th, maybe that is why I am crying my eyes out at finding the photo.
