Waffle got neutered today! It was an intense surgery because one of his testicles didn't drop at all, poor boy. I'm going to buy a toy for him today at PetSmart so I have a gift for him when I visit over spring break. :]
I remember poor Algy's surgery 11 years ago. Poor kid wouldn't even look at me when I went to pick him up. He just sat there in the crate at the vets, staring at the wall with his back to the door.
I hope poor little Waffle gets better real soon!! (And gets a good toy too, cuz that would be nice for him).
Love your cartoon! You should seriously look into doing illustrations for childrens' books. Hope Waffle does well. I'm pretty sure Jack thinks he still has his boy bits. :) He marks, he has an eye for the ladies, and he tries to pee as high up the side of everything as he can!
Riley is at the vets as I write having the same procedure done. Riley's breeder told us that Riley only had one testicle, that was at 8 weeks. We brought Riley home and took him to the vet...the vet said Riley had "0" testicles. Today at 7 1/2 months Riley still had no descended testicles...we'll see if there were none or they were actually hiding! Riley was 1 of six in his litter, 3 girls and 3 boys...the 3 boys all born without testicles (we were told).
Finn had the same procedure. They found his hidden jewel in his abdomen which meant he ended up with double incisions. It's always in the last place you look. :)
