We finally got our potato home yesterday after much anticipation.  We picked her out three weeks ago and were surprised that she hadn't grown much.  Our last dog, Laika, was a samoyed who seemed to grow an inch in every direction every day.  No matter, Cocosette is absolutely precious and appears to be a quick and eager learner!  I didn't expect to get much sleep last night, new home and all, but she settled right into her crate and didn't utter a peep until 6:30 or so this morning.  After a trip outside, breakfast, and a return trip to the lawn, Cocosette was ready to party, feisty and hopping around like a bunny on espresso, lol.

I'm very happy I finally took the plunge and got Cocosette, after hemming and hawing for half a year.  Five years is a long time to go without a dog.

Thanks, Doug.  She's been a blast so far.  Your Gromit there is pretty talented, surfin' the net all by himself!  lol

Congratulations on your new Corgi pal.  The fun should be pretty much non-stop from here on out.

Thanks for the kind words, Jen, Yuki, Teresa, Jane and Jane.  We're thrilled with her.  It's amazing how different a house feels when there's a doggie at home. :o)

Congratulations!  She'll surely bring some much-needed doggy love to your home.  And I agree, five years is a long time without a doggy companion!
