DOOOOLEY!!!!!!!!!! HE'S HERE!
Oh, my gosh -- you all can't believe how I feel right now -- a sudden wave of mixed emotions has taken my breath away to find Dooley on here! I'm crying and really don't have much to say because the words are hard to come by -- I will talk with everyone later.

Deanne, I am so happy to hear that!! It absolutely broke my heart to read your other posts about Dooley. A huge part of the reason I've never fostered is because I'm pretty sure I'd never be able to give up a dog I'd had living in my house for any amount of time. I so admire the time you put into rescue and it sounds like you did your job just perfectly by helping Dooley find a great forever home!

Just know that you're not the only on crying Deana...tears of happiness of coarse that you didn't have to wait and wonder! Sounds like Dooley is settling in nicely! I'm so happy for you and Brian and his wife!

Yeah, as soon as I saw the pic, I thought "Dooley???" and then I read the description of how he came to Texas out of a Kansas shelter by way of an Oklahoma foster.... and they can't tell if he's all Fluffy Corgi or part Corgi part Sheltie, and I knew it was him! The new owners seem so dedicated already that I was just thrilled to death.

I was amazed when I saw him too. I was just following up on a discussion and I saw the picture and thought "that looks an awful lot like Dooley" so I checked out the owner's profile and sure enough it WAS Dooley! I'm sure we've all overloaded you with messages! :)
