So it's a good thing we had the vet visit scheduled when we did because Apollo (our male) is definitely sick and apparently suffering. (I really don't think it's behavioral because sure he cried a little whenever we had kennel time before but now it is incessantly) The poor thing has cried ALL day/ALL night for the last 24 hours with the small exception that he's okay for the duration of our walks/potty time. When we got back from our trip we noticed the little guy looked incredibly bloated and assumed like most puppies it was just worms. The vet however said she found some crystallization in his urine that is either a bladder infection or something else (which she indicated would be worse). He has been peeing up a storm though. Before we left he was good for about every 3-4 hours now he pees seconds after we bring him inside from peeing. So we've got him on Amoxicillin and are hoping it clears up fast. He's gotta go back in to the vet in 2 weeks again for more tests. Artemis did really well though minus the fact that she screamed bloody murder when the vet had to restrain her to trim her nails =P We'll have to work on that but she's 100% healthy and did GREAT getting her shots done. We're hoping things clear up with Apollo soon though as we were planning on going to Ren-fest with them both.

I am sorry to hear about Apollo...How is he doing now?

Hopefully Apollo will feel better soon! Callie was peeing so much and even would go in her sleep, but it turned out to be something else. No fun having to take your dog out all the time and see them sick.
I was thinking about taking Callie to Ren-fest this year since she had a blast last year. We will have to wait until next year to bring her again because she just had surgery.

You can take pets any weekend...I do suggest that you download an app for them from the Ren. site and do all the peperwork at home...it's save so much time and I also take my own pics (separate ones) this will save you 5 bucks each. Then you're almost ready to walk in through the pet gate and not have to wait in line for others...they will get a tag with a # on. Yours are so young they will get pooped out fast...you might have to carry them some! Let me know if you change your date to give Apollo some more time to feel stronger!

We were gonna go on the 11th or 12th since it was Pet-fest. I didn't know you could take animals any weekend though so we'll see how he's doing and let you know. :)
