Getting fixed today
Shiro is at the vet's right now, getting the operation done. It will be more complicated (and expensive) than a regular neuter because he's criptorchid, but we're prepared and just hoping for the best. He will be out today by 6pm and if everything goes well should be fully recovered in a week. It will be hard to keep him from playing and frapping but hopefully I can compensate with lots of home training.
The technitian also noticed that he had some staph infection on his belly and that might explain why he was so itchy. I couldn't tell what bothered him because he couldn't reach his belly to scratch it and instead hit his head or side. Poor boy. They'll give us some antibiotics for it and hopefully he'll feel better soon.

All went well and although he was somewhat whiny yesterday and had to wear the e-collar all night he's feeling much better.
