We are having so much fun and staying very busy with these new pups! We lost a beautiful male tri on Fri. I think Livvy stepped or laid on him...bless him poor baby!

These guys are changing daily and so fun to watch! I am thinking we will now end up with 3 red and 3 tris!!!! Time will tell. They are already switching their cute little tails all over! And talk about agility...these pups contort their bodies every which way to get some of momma's good milk!

Well, I have no clue about Cardis but yes Pems have this cute little white tip! Did you see how large these tails are also? Last year I had Bella's pups docked and the vet was very surprised at how large a 3 days old pup's tail was!

Their weights are fine and their lenghts are increasing an inch a day I swear. I thought that since we had two that I guessed were tris as the color was totally different than the others, they came out looking black then turned red when they dried off! Darn! They(some) sure have different personalities already also!

They're all reds :). Tris are born absolutely black with red points; reds are born with that black shading down the back. You can usually estimate the adult color of a red puppy by looking at the top of the head at birth. Tris never look like anything but tris.

I am sorry you lost one; that is very hard. How are weights looking?

Awwww, so cute! Sorry about the little guy.Raising puppies is not for the weak at heart! Do you have some families waiting for them yet or is it a little soon? Love the tails...
