Little Things I Love About Having Corgis
Just a little list of things that my dogs do that always makes me smile.
1. I love when they lay on the rug in the bathroom when I'm showering.
2. I love how they grunt when I disturb them when they're sleeping.
3. I love that they think that every time I walk into the kitchen, I'm going to feed them.
4. I love when I tell them no and they make that noise "hmph."
5. I love when I get them up to go potty before we go to bed and they're napping and they do the sleepy walk outside, go one step onto the grass, potty and sleepy walk back in the house.
6. I love how they jump in the snow just to watch it bounce.
7. I love that I have never beat either of them up the stairs - it's their favorite race.
8, I love when I stay up too late reading a book downstairs and they get up and stand on the stairs at glare at me, as if to say, "IT IS BEDTIME, LET'S GO YOUNG LADY."

I love how they greet me at the door with their butts all a wiggle, kiss me and love me up (as much as I do them) And I only went out to take out the trash!

Mine do several of the things on your list, too. How fascinating. I love that when they did something bad, they just beam at me with the biggest smile and all my desire to reprimand would melt away. I love that they want to follow me to go wherever I go (and eat everything I eat).

I love how Murphy knows the second I open my eyes in the morning. No movements, no noises... just the opening of my eyes, and he's THERE!

I love how Sidney makes that "hmph" noise whenever I do the "bang! You're dead" trick. The seniors at the assisted living facility that we visit just love his added touch of drama!
