Today both my ears are completely pricked. Mum and Daddy are SO proud of me. They both hugged and kissed me (but they do that all the time) and Mum sang the song she promised to me:

A man walks down the street
He says why am I short of attention
Got a short little span of attention
Who'll be my role-model
Now that my role-model is
Gone Gone
He ducked back down the alley
With some roly-poly little bat-faced girl

The she repeats "with some roly-poly little bat-faced girl!"

Everybody laughs as I sing and dance along.

Lily plays (sort of) with me now with the new furry soccer ball. She gets it an brings it to Mum or Daddy to throw and they throw it into the kitchen. Lily scampers after it and I run beside her, reminding her; it's my ball, it's MY BALL! She grabs it and looks at me as I run beside her, saying in a low growly voice "We shall see, we shall see". When we get back to Mum and Daddy, she puts the ball down and tackles me. Mum always jumps up, scared, but Daddy says, "Let them be!" and she backs off. I take a couple of nips from her but I'm not scared. I puff up my chest and yell, "I'm not scared of you!" Lily takes another go at me and I jump up high and land on her nose, yelling, "There! There! Take that!" until Mum intervenes, wagging her finger at both of us.

She shakes her head and says to Daddy that Lily doesn't know how to play but I think Lily plays wonderful! She really doesn't like to chase about -- just play with the ball.

Tonight I was in the guest room with Daddy and I heard her calling me. I charged out, ready to go and she held out the ball to me but I thought we might try wrestling, instead. She wasn't having it so I ran around her and rolled over in front of her and she just pounced on me but wouldn't chase. I like to run so fast. I like to hide in the guest room so Mum will call, "Molly, Molly" then I race out and run around her, both of us laughing until she picks me up and kisses me.

Every so often I try to snooze near Lily and she kind of lets me. Today I crawled onto the towel with her and we snoozed for a long time. Both Daddy & Mum took pictures.

It was a banner day!
